Inside a directory

This is what you get.

Real pages from The London Investment Banking Directory — not a mock-up. The entries fade out partway down because the details are the product, but everything above the fade is exactly as it arrives.

Page from The London Investment Banking Directory — The cover, and what the edition covers

4 of 62 pages shown

Every entry is researched individually and cross-checked against the firm's own website and Companies House. Anything that could not be confirmed is left out rather than estimated — which is why some entries carry a phone number and an email, and others carry neither.

The method

Left out rather than estimated.

Every entry is researched individually. Where a telephone number, an address or an application inbox couldn't be confirmed with confidence, it is omitted entirely — no placeholder, no educated guess.

That makes a directory deliberately incomplete. It also means that what it does contain can be relied on at the moment it matters — which, when you are sending fifty applications, is the only property worth paying for.

I

Verified, or omitted

Every detail is cross-checked against the firm's own website and Companies House. Anything that can't be confirmed is left out rather than estimated.

II

Sector by sector

Thirteen separate compilations rather than one list, so the firms in front of you are the ones hiring for the work you actually want.

III

Built to act on

Names, addresses, websites and — where they exist publicly — direct lines and application addresses. Enough to write to a firm the same afternoon.

Found something wrong?

Tell us, and we'll fix it.

Every entry was verified when the directory was compiled. Firms still move, rebrand, get acquired and occasionally close — a handful will drift out of date between one reissue and the next. If you hit a dead link, a disconnected number or a firm that no longer exists, send it over and it is corrected in the next edition.

Report a correction

The firm name and what's wrong is enough. No form, no ticket number — it goes straight to William.

wb.citypath@gmail.com

Reports are read by the person who compiled the entry. Corrections go into the next reissue, and if something is badly wrong we will say so rather than quietly patch it.

How it works

Four steps, then it's yours.

  1. 01

    Explore the directories

Browse the sectors covered and see real pages from a compiled directory before committing to anything.

  2. 02

    Tell us the seat count

Email with the institution, roughly how many people, and when you would need it. You get a written quote and a sample directory to circulate internally.

  3. 03

    Invoice against a purchase order

We invoice, your finance office pays by bank transfer. No card, no checkout, and nothing to renew unexpectedly.

  4. 04

    Access opens

Whoever signed the licence creates an account and we open access to it. Every released directory appears at once, and both annual reissues land there automatically.

For institutions

Licensing a cohort, not a copy.

From 20 seats upwards, so every student on a programme starts from the same place instead of thirteen different half-finished spreadsheets.

Billed annually20+ seats

Schools, colleges and universities

from£3.00per seat, per year

88% below the individual price

Each intake is licensed for its own year. A new cohort is a new licence, which is what the per-seat price is set against.

  • University careers services
  • Sixth forms and college careers teams
  • Finance, investment and consulting societies
  • Employability and widening participation programmes
Billed annually20+ seats

Agencies, employers and recruiters

from£10.00per seat, per year

60% below the individual price

Renews each year. Seats stay with the people they were issued to; every reissue lands in the account as it is released.

  • Recruitment and search agencies
  • Graduate employers running their own pipelines
  • Training providers and bootcamps
  • Professional bodies and membership groups

Both tiers include

  • One invoice, raised against a purchase order
  • One named person per seat, for the licence year — seats are not transferable
  • Every directory across all sectors, reissued in Q1 and Q3
  • Named contact for the duration of the licence

Buying for yourself?

Yes — just write and ask.

Most of what City Path does is licensed to schools, universities and agencies — but individual access is £25.00 and we would much rather have you than not. Send an email, say what you're applying for, and William reads it himself.

No form, no queue and no waiting on a support desk — usually the same day. There is no checkout because every licence is issued to one named person, and doing it by hand is what makes that true rather than a clause in the terms.

Coming through a university society or careers service we already work with? Say so — there is usually a reduced rate.

Individual access£25.00
  • One licence, issued to one named person
  • Usually approved the same day — no form and no queue
  • Every directory released so far, and every reissue in Q1 and Q3
  • Reduced rates for society and careers-service referrals

Start with the index.

Licences start at 20 seats, and every directory released afterwards arrives in the account automatically — including both reissues each year.
